Light to define spatial dimensions.

The vaults washlighting reinforces the sense of height and lightness in the interior. Indirect light blended with additional zenithal illumination of the ground connect the different areas and create a milder overall impression. Within ambient lighting, accent lighting adds contrasts that direct attention onto the rhythm of the slender columns, but also prominent objects, altars and paintings.

Connected load reduced from 70kW to 23.7kW. The project has earned an A+ rating for energy efficiency by Italian environmental organisation Legambiente.
