We dedicate time and resources to expand our knowledge about new materials and to implement the use of new technologies. Research projects are mainly conducted on behalf of our clients. In every project we implement our‘research through design’ philosophy. We work in close association with the manufacturers and craftsmen to produce exclusive and unique, custom-made products.

Our team is trained to give solutions and optimize projects where daylight and lighting pollution are involved. We analyse the daylight conditions in new and old buildings, check lighting pollution levels in outdoor situations and calculate how to control natural light inside architecture. We also use daylight and artificial lighting control systems in order to save energy and reduce the maintenance costs.

Because of our understanding of mechanical, electrical and optical design topics, we are asked by manufacturers and clients to solve their problems. We operate in close collaboration with companies and laboratories. We are often called as experts by the courts, when lighting issues are involved.

We have a wide experience in art direction the production of lighting exhibitions, special projects, artistic lighting installations and lighting literature. In collaboration with other professionals we work on brand strategies and corporate identities projects, for Italian and foreigner clients.
