Lighting design supports the architecture facilitating the flow of people (about 25 million people per year) through the train station. Lighting is a technical as well as an expressive element that improves the aesthetics of the building and rises the standard of safety………
Lighting helps the building deliver an overall visual impact, while signs help accomplish people-moving objectives.
Almost 1.400 luminaires are installed in the station. Metal halide, fluorescent lamps and led are mounted indoor, while outdoor projectors and adjustable fixtures gauarantee high illuminance levels in areas that from a security point of view, are usually considered at risk.
