TORRE GALFA – Milano, Italy

Lighting concept

Built in the last ‘50ies, Torre Galfa has been for a long time one of the tallest building in Milano. A curtain wall system is covering the outer perimeter of the building, resulting in an interesting combination of the black mounting frames with the silver ones in the back.
The lighting concept starts from the idea of enhancing the frame that makes so special the building, while dynamic lighting recreates the idea of the design of the shell. The lighting design is a composition of single lines covering the main frame of the metal structure.
